If I kill myself, is my spirit condemned to Hell forever?

No your soul is not condemned to Hell forever. But it is a very bad act against God who enabled you to have a human experience within a body.

Everything works with understanding of cause and effect or in other words karma. You already know that when you do good things, good things happen to you. You do well on a test and you are rewarded with a good grade and you’ll advance to the next grade. If you do poorly on the test, you’ll get a poor grade and may not pass onto the next grade. Cause and effect. It was your responsibility to study to pass that test and beCAUSE you did the effect is obvious.

Your soul lives forever and you, like everyone else, will achieve perfection in time. But it’s all about how much time. So in a Karmic way you have earned demerits for having committed suicide and the way to erase those demerits which will keep you back from advancing is to repay them in some manner. Repaying a debt like suicide might mean that you have to learn how valuable life is and to do that you might reincarnate into a person who loves many people only to see them die at the most inopportune time so that you feel the pain of the loss. This pain might help you reflect on the value of life and begin to get you back onto the path of spiritual advancement.
