Why is Spiritism called the Third Revelation?
Spiritism is called the Third Revelation because it is believed the Moses brought his teachings to his people by revealing to them what not to do while Jesus revealed to the people of his time what they also should be doing. The Spirit of Truth, who assisted imparting the Spiritist Doctrine to Allan Kardec was now revealing the answers to all the questions that began with Why?. This message was again tailored for the people and culture of those in receipt of it so that it would be best understood.
